These images were created while working on a long-term project for the Herbology Department at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. Studying visually these powerful and extraordinary plants, watching them being turned into medicine and learning their healing properties was one of the most adventurous and inspiring times in my life, as a photographer and as a human being.
