White may be the colour of milk, clouds or snow. It suggests innocence and enlightenment, clarity and simplicity. As black absorbs all the visible wavelengths, white is total reflection. White light is a mixture of all colours in roughly equal proportions.

White colour evokes the mood of quietness. In Western cultures, it is associated with purity and peacefulness. However, in many Eastern cultures, it is linked to sadness and mourning. Regardless of culture, it touches on delicate matters woven from the fragility of human experience.
